About the position

As an Electrical Technician at Baker Hughes, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of innovative Wireline technologies. This position involves working closely with customers in the field, ensuring high-quality service and efficiency in well construction and production. You will utilize your technical skills to interpret blueprints, operate measurement equipment, and solve complex technical problems, contributing to the overall success of the Wireline Team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
• Follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
• Use measurement and gauging equipment and processes proficiently.
• Operate multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
• Apply advanced analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
• Solder and assemble electro-mechanical devices with advanced skills.
• Utilize advanced computer skills for various tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Competent in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro-mechanical devices.
• Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.
• 5+ years of maintenance-related experience in electro-mechanical functions or relevant industrial experience.
