About The Position

The Electronic Technician role at UL Solutions involves setting up and performing tests on equipment and samples in a laboratory environment. Requirements

• Higher Secondary Education in Electronics or equivalent experience.
• Three years of related experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Proven ability to be innovative and creative.
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to incorporate automation into testing processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with laboratory equipment and testing standards.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform tests on equipment and test setups for clients.
• Examine test samples and read blueprints, schematics, and operational instructions.
• Follow defined test plans and datasheets provided by engineers.
• Record and send test results back to engineers.
• Evaluate test performance and sample operation to assess results accurately.
• Build and adapt test setups and equipment based on engineering instructions.
• Operate designated machines and special laboratory equipment with minimal supervision.
• Integrate continuous improvement concepts into daily tasks.
• Communicate suggestions for new equipment and processes to management.
