About the position

The Electronic Test Technician at Keltron IoT Corporation is responsible for conducting manufacturing tests on various electronic components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with established procedures. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring electronic systems, as well as communicating with customers to resolve any issues that arise. The position offers opportunities for growth into senior technician and technical support roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manufacturing tests of PC boards, other subassemblies, and final assemblies per test procedures for all product lines.
• Configure PCs per procedures.
• Load and test product firmware per customer order.
• Perform repair of PC boards and subassemblies in process.
• Follow Keltron ISO and inventory control procedures.
• Install and configure Keltron software onto PCs under the supervision of a senior technician.
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements

• General electronics training required, associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years electronics manufacturing experience as a test, repair, or engineering technician.
• Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills at system and component levels.
• Ability to read and follow PC board schematics.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, Word and Excel at a minimum.
• Knowledge of radio and/or general digital communications protocols is an advantage.
• Some knowledge of IP networking is an advantage.
• Well organized self-starter.
• Ability to communicate effectively and relay correct, detailed information to customers as needed.
• Familiarity with VMware helpful.
• Knowledge of fire panels helpful, but not required.
