About the position
The Electronic Test Technician role is a hands-on position focused on testing electronic units and ensuring their functionality through prescribed procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to work in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to cutting-edge technology. The technician will be responsible for setting up test stands, analyzing results, and collaborating with team members to maintain effective communication throughout the testing process.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various test stands for electronic units.
- Interpret and record test results, identifying and isolating equipment failures.
- Read and interpret component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
- Communicate work status effectively with teammates, engineering, and support staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, or 3 years of related experience if no diploma.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuitry and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and communicate clearly in English.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in office software.
