Job Description: Full-Time Experienced Non-Manager We are currently looking for qualified Electronic Test Techniciansto join our growing team. Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday,5:30am - 4:00pm or 6:00am-4:30pm. This position is eligible forquarterly production bonuses, currently being paid out at $1000.Radiant Power Corp. delivers the highest levels of quality andreliability from our full range of aerospace products. This position requiresuse of information or access to hardware, which is subject to theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicantsmust be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines aU.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'GreenCard Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Conducts a variety ofelectronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests on electronicsystems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functionsaccording to specifications or to determine cause of unit failureby performing the following duties: GENERAL DUTIES: Read test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performancespecifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testingprocedure and equipment to be used. Test functional performance of systems, subassemblies and partsunder specified environmental conditions such as temperaturechange, vibration, pressure and humidity. Calibrates test instruments according to specifications. Reads dials or digital displays that indicate electroniccharacteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductanceand capacitance. Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause offailure. Confers with engineers, technicians, production team and othersregarding testing procedures and results, to resolve problems. Devises test equipment setup to evaluate performance andoperation of nonstandard or customer returned units. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college ortechnical school; or one to three years related experience andtraining; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,test procedures, equipment manuals, maintenance instructions andprocedure manuals. Read/Write Fluently in English Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fastpaced, manufacturing environment. Ability to make all calculations necessary to develop, deployand evaluate test processes and product performance to testspecifications. MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, Access, andMSWord. IPC610D Class III Solder Certificate. Expired certificate isokay. Sustained dependable attendance. Cooperation with others in team environment for cross trainingand conference on operational issues. Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplishassigned tasks on a timely basis. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Regularly required to walk up and down stairs. Regularly required to talk or hear. Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. Regular use of arms to reach. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
