About the position

The Electronic Test Technician role involves final testing of high-tech programmable DC power supplies and electronic loads, ensuring that electronic components meet product specifications. The position requires a blend of mechanical and electrical skills, focusing on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Final testing of programmable DC power supplies and electronic loads in the power range of 1.5 kW to 1,000 kW
• Conduct final board-level testing of control boards, driver boards, and associated circuitry
• Wire high-power AC and DC connections for burn-in
• Assemble and run test circuits to ensure electronic components perform according to product specifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with and assembling hardware systems (mechanical and electrical hardware)
• Experience with test equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, and volt meters
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in digital electronics, circuit functions, basic electronics, electrical wiring, BOM's and schematic reading
• Good analytical and mechanical aptitude
