About the position

The Electronic Test Technician role involves working on the production test floor, performing electrical testing of semiconductors using both manual and automated test equipment. Technicians will be responsible for setting up test equipment, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation according to product requirements. This position is contract-based with opportunities for temp-to-hire, requiring training on the first shift before transitioning to second or third shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and perform electrical testing of semiconductors according to work instructions.
• Conduct counting and visual inspections of devices.
• Assist in completing engineering work orders.
• Utilize basic computer skills to identify and interpret pass/fail parameters for recording in Camstar.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Fill nitrogen tanks.

Requirements

• Cleanroom experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
• General knowledge of microscope and handling of semiconductors is required.
• Mechanical knowledge of basic hand tools is necessary.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude are essential.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently under pressure.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math.
