The Electronic Warfare Software Engineer position at Leidos involves designing, implementing, and integrating advanced radar technologies into sensor programs. Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and integration of advanced radar technologies into sensor programs.
• Engage in software development and system integration activities, including high-speed data acquisition and real-time signal processing.
• Design and implement real-time prototype sensors and algorithms for digital signal processing and tracking.
• Field test RF sensors and systems, including CONUS/OCONUS deployment of advanced sensor systems.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute innovative ideas to sensor projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited school, or in the process of achieving a higher degree.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills and strong fundamentals in Modern C++ development, NVIDIA CUDA GPU development, VHDL/Verilog for FPGA development, real-time Linux and device driver development, ZeroMQ or other messaging frameworks, and Qt GUI development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Matlab and understanding of signal processing fundamentals such as sampling and Fourier analysis.
• Knowledge of collaboration and development tools such as GIT, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
