Based in San Diego and Chicago, the company produces Made-in-America products with the mission to Lead the World to Clean Mobility. As an Electronics Assembler your responsibilities will be:

Responsibilities

  • Build electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Follow production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions.
  • Interpret and work from electromechanical schematics, drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
  • Pre-cut component cables and wires.
  • Connect component cables and wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Modify and crimp wires to meet sub-assembly requirements.
  • Use hand tools to place small components, cables, connectors, and perform basic tests.
  • Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
  • Inspect completed electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot and rework defects on sub-assemblies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clear understanding of electrical hardware (crimps, ferrules, lugs, etc.) and proper methods
  • Basic level knowledge of blueprints, Bill of Materials, and electrical schematics.
  • Requires ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Must be available for overtime weekdays and Saturdays as needed.
