About the position

The Electronics Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design Engineer role at Lockheed Martin involves engaging in the complete lifecycle of circuit design, from initial requirements review to manufacturing support and testing. This position is part of the Raptor Avionics hardware design group, which plays a crucial role in supporting various projects through circuit board design and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing design requirements
  • Creating block diagrams
  • Creating schematics
  • Creating circuit card assembly (CCA)
  • Purchasing all the parts on the BOM
  • Supporting manufacturing of the CCA
  • Performing test checkout of the CCA
  • Supporting program box integration

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 5+ years of professional experience in design and/or analysis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
  • US Citizenship is required

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Worst Case Analysis (WCA) for Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs
  • Experience with card test requirements and process
  • Ability to interpret electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
