About the position

The Avionics Circuit Design Engineer will be responsible for the development of advanced avionics products within a world-class Integrated Product Development environment. This role involves working on circuit design from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality design and analysis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing design requirements
• Creating block diagrams
• Creating schematics
• Creating circuit card assembly (CCA)
• Purchasing all the parts on the BOM
• Supporting manufacturing of the CCA
• Performing test checkout of the CCA
• Supporting program box integration

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Prior work designing and analyzing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
• 2+ years professional experience or a Master's degree
• US Citizenship is required

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated usage of Zuken, Altium, Mentor Graphics or other schematic capture tool
• Performed Worst Case Analysis (WCA) on Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs
• Knowledge of card test requirements and process
• Ability to understand electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams
• PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tool experience
• Excellent presentation, oral and written skills
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
