About the position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Electronics Engineer to work on subsystems of F-35 processors and hardware. The role involves documenting and designing subsystems, reviewing documentation, and integrating and testing F-35 subsystems. The successful candidate will apply hardware engineering best practices, including requirements analysis, design, and software/hardware integration, while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Document and design subsystems of F-35 processors and hardware.
  • Review documentation related to F-35 subsystems.
  • Integrate and test F-35 subsystems.
  • Perform requirements analysis and design for hardware engineering.
  • Apply software/hardware integration best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Open, eager, and excited for both hands-on work and computer work.
  • Ability to obtain Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Entry-level engineering experience.
  • Skills in one or more adjacent domains to hardware installation and integration.
