About the position
The Electronics Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin will oversee the development of advanced avionics products within a collaborative Integrated Product Development environment. This role is crucial for maintaining the nation's strategic deterrent and involves leading multi-functional teams to ensure successful execution of tasks aligned with customer commitments.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team collaboration and successful execution with partner teams.
- Assign, implement, and status tasks within Lockheed Martin and with customers, aligned with cost and schedule commitments.
- Ensure personnel are knowledgeable, trained, and ready to provide support at customer sites when directed.
- Provide recommendations for system support and upgrades.
- Ensure the team understands their role and relationship with other teams and how they support customer missions and business objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in electronics engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams and coordinating work towards common goals.
- Active DOD Secret clearance or higher, requiring US Citizenship.

- Experience with strategic deterrent test and support equipment.
- Familiarity with operations at Air Force bases supporting strategic deterrent missions.
