About the position

The Electronics Integration and Test Technician at BlueHalo is responsible for supporting the testing and integration of electronic systems for space applications. This role requires hands-on experience in hardware integration, testing, and compliance with established policies and procedures. The technician will work in a secure laboratory environment, performing detailed design validation and ensuring quality management system processes are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the test of Grade 1 hardware for space applications within the SpaceTech organization
  • Provide skills required to accomplish operations associated with the test of electronic circuit boards
  • Support the testing of integrated systems utilizing STE and environmental test equipment
  • Apply established policies and procedures to perform detailed design validation of space electronic systems
  • Perform electronic module and systems testing/validation in accordance with hardware unique procedures
  • Perform integration and testing of space electronic systems and subsystems
  • Responsible for detailed design realization and verification tasks
  • Responsible for compliance to QMS processes
  • Prepare and execute procedures, reports, or data acquisition as assigned
  • Perform moderate physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, bending, continuous standing
  • Assist engineers and other technicians
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Familiarity with processes and methods used in the setup, checkout and testing of electronics systems
  • 8 years minimum experience in electronics testing and integration
  • Knowledge of computers and office productivity software
  • Effective technical communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment both within the organization and with the customer
  • Experience with the generation and execution of step-by-step process logging as directed by a work traveler
  • Ability to understand and adhere to in-process ESD mitigation techniques
  • Ability to read and understand both basic assembly instructional documentation and Engineering drawings
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
  • Familiarity with processes and methods used in the setup, checkout and testing of electronics systems
