About the position

The Electronics Manufacturing/Production Supervisor will oversee production operations at a manufacturing facility in Southern California, focusing on PCB and PCBA assembly. The role involves ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a diverse production team to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations in the electronics manufacturing department.
• Ensure production targets are met while adhering to quality standards.
• Lead and train production staff to achieve optimal performance and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production lines to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards including AS 9100 and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least five years of experience in an electronics/electromechanical manufacturing setting.
• Three or more years of direct experience as a Production Supervisor, shift leader, or team leader in electronics manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of PCB, PCBA, and SMT or Thru-hole assembly processes.
• Familiarity with electromechanical assembly and soldering techniques.
• Experience with Juki machinery and other relevant production equipment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
