About the position
The Electronics Process Engineering Intern position at BorgWarner is a year-round opportunity designed for individuals who are dynamic and results-driven. The intern will assist in processing early prototype electronics, which includes operating component assembly equipment, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting processes. This role provides a hands-on experience in a supportive environment focused on innovation and sustainability in the vehicle market.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate process equipment
- Learn to measure and document key parameters
- Learn to troubleshoot minor process problems
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a graduate from an accredited college
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
- Ability to use standard software tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Confident with using hand tools
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to program in VB is desirable
- Ability to use statistics on data collected is desirable
- Ability to use SolidWorks is desirable
