About the position

The Electronics Project Engineer- Sustaining Product Development is responsible for supporting the design, development, validation, and implementation of electrical components and systems for Rehlko industrial generators. This hybrid role requires both on-site and remote work, focusing on troubleshooting, testing, and mentoring within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support implementation of electrical components or electronic systems on Rehlko generator platforms, including validation, testing, and postproduction support.
• Develop and execute test specifications and test procedures to validate or verify component or system function.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement electrical and controls systems.
• Troubleshoot failures and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Make recommendations for product improvements.
• Develop and implement special electronics systems as needed for testing.
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs.
• Participate in design reviews and design FMEA's.
• Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components.
• Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts.
• Develop documents and achieve product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements.
• Deliver project work to time, cost, and quality.
• Develop individual goals/objectives to support department goals.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited program.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to lead and complete multiple projects in a timely fashion.
• Basic knowledge of C and C++ or an equivalent high-level programming language.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
