About the position

The Electronics Project Engineer Sustaining Product Development is responsible for supporting the design, development, validation, and implementation of electrical components and systems for Rehlko industrial generators. This hybrid role requires both on-site and remote work, focusing on troubleshooting, testing, and mentoring within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support implementation of electrical components or electronic systems on Rehlko generator platforms, including validation, testing, and postproduction support.
• Develop and execute test specifications and test procedures to validate or verify component or system function.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement electrical and controls systems.
• Troubleshoot failures and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Make recommendations for product improvements.
• Develop and implement special electronics systems as needed for testing.
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs.
• Participate in design reviews and design FMEAs.
• Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components.
• Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts.
• Develop documents and achieve product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements.
• Deliver project work to time, cost, and quality.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited program.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to lead and complete multiple projects in a timely fashion.
• Basic knowledge of C and C++ or an equivalent high-level programming language.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
