Electronics Sort Technician

The purpose of this position is to take on the challenge of sorting and disassembling a wide range of electronic devices with precision and speed. You'll ensure the accurate validation of incoming materials, assess their value, and create efficient workflows tailored to customer needs. Your keen eye for detail and strategic recommendations will drive continuous improvements, enhancing both efficiency and quality in our processes.

Responsibilities

• Sort desktops, laptops, wireless devices, and other peripherals; assess value/quality, disassemble, and harvest components from end-of-life material; reconcile weights.
• Utilize ERP systems to document sorted items and track data.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, identifying and removing safety hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over one year up to three years in fast-paced or KPI-driven environments involving heavy labor, such as warehouse production or construction.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.

Nice-to-haves

• Post High School education in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Experience in environments requiring heavy labor or full-time employment in similar roles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and knowledge of electronic device values.
• Spreadsheet/database entry and intermediate math skills.
