About the position

At Parsons, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals looking to make a significant impact in the field of technical support services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is part of the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5), awarded to Parsons in April 2023, which is a substantial $1.8+ billion contract with a four-year base period and two additional three-year options. The work encompasses a wide range of activities that support the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP), NextGen Program, national security initiatives, and aviation safety. As a key player in this contract, you will be involved in site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the success of these programs across the nation, including the FAA's nine regions and various U.S. territories. In this role, you will conduct a variety of tests using established methods, prepare test specimens, adjust and operate equipment, and record test data while identifying any deviations due to equipment malfunctions or observational errors. You will also be responsible for constructing components and subunits, adapting standard equipment, and servicing or repairing simple instruments. Following specific design layouts for FAA NAVAID and Radio Communication Systems, you will assist in field installations and support construction activities, including running cables up towers and working with duct banks and conduits. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will receive technical guidance from supervisors and higher-level technicians while demonstrating your knowledge in using complex test equipment. As part of our Federal Solutions team, you will be joining a diverse group of intelligent employees dedicated to delivering resources and solutions to our U.S. government customers. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork, ensuring that we protect and sustain our nation's critical assets. With a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, Parsons is an equal opportunity employer that values representation at all job levels.
