About the position

The Electronics Technician role at UTLX Manufacturing involves installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying controls and automation systems for railroad tank cars. The position requires troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on automated production equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring the quality and innovation of the company's services in the tank/rail car market.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and modify controls and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on various automated production equipment.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, and Robotics.
• Utilize Allen-Bradley ControlLogix for automation and control system design.
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting of automation systems.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 7 years of automation maintenance experience and/or automation projects experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix.
