About the position
The Electronics Test Operator role at Aerotek involves supporting the manufacturing of electronic components in a high-compliance, lean manufacturing environment. The position emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to work with small components under precise conditions, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure quality assembly and testing of electronic products.
Responsibilities
- Using a torque screwdriver to fasten components into place.
- Using an arbor press to press pins into place on an assembly.
- Working under a microscope to place and adjust small components.
- Using tweezers to pick up, place, and manipulate small components.
- Performing work in a laminar flow hood.
- Possible operation of a basic test system to gather pass/fail information from assemblies.
Requirements
- Ability to use a microscope and inspect small electronic components.
- Basic computer skills: Ability to read and write English, use email, read machine monitor, and understand basic commands and functions of the machine.
- Proven attendance and reliability through good work history or references.
Nice-to-haves
- Machine operation or cleanroom experience is a plus.
- ITAR Compliant documentation.
