About the position

R&P Technologies is seeking an Electronics Warfare Technician to join their team in Pascagoula, MS. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the installation, troubleshooting, and integration of the SLQ 32 system aboard LPD 17 Class Ships. The technician will collaborate with shipbuilders and government teams to ensure successful execution of system tests and trials.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, grooming, troubleshooting, activation, testing and integration of the SLQ 32 system aboard LPD 17 Class Ships.
• Interact with the shipbuilder and Government Combat Systems Team Members in test execution of the SLQ 32 system.
• Support System Light Off Milestones such as Electronics Systems Light Off and Combat Systems Light Off events.
• Participate in Builders At Sea Trials, Acceptance Trials, and Final Contract Trials.
• Review Industrial Test Procedures for Specification and Technical Accuracy.
• Assist Ships Force Personnel in System Familiarity and Operation of SLQ 32.
• Ability to work alone and/or in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with at least 4-8 years of Active Duty US Navy SLQ 32 experience onboard US Naval Vessels.
• Ability to utilize portable electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in fault analysis of electronic/electrical equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs.
• Active Secret Clearance.
