Elementary Music and Art Teacher (Potential)

About the position

Roosevelt and Lincoln Elementary Schools are seeking a passionate and creative Elementary Music & Art Teacher to inspire young learners in grades K-5. The ideal candidate will design engaging lessons that foster creativity, self-expression, and a love for the arts. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum in both music and visual arts.
• Teach fundamental music skills, including rhythm, melody, and basic instruments.
• Lead students in creative art projects using various media and techniques.
• Organize performances, exhibitions, and school-wide arts events.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate the arts into the broader curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Art Education, or a related field (teaching certification preferred).
• Experience teaching elementary-age children.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
