About the position
The South and Hansen Elementary Schools are looking for a dedicated full-time Elementary Music Teacher to provide music education to students. The role involves teaching music for 2.5 days at each school, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive music education in line with state standards.
Responsibilities
- Teach music classes to elementary students at South and Hansen Elementary Schools.
- Develop and implement engaging music curriculum and lesson plans.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader educational experience.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Proper Massachusetts certification in music education is required.
- Experience in teaching music to elementary-aged children is preferred.
