About the position
The Elementary School Teacher at Stride, Inc. is responsible for delivering engaging and personalized educational experiences to students in an online environment. This role involves managing the learning process, providing instruction and support, and monitoring student progress. The teacher will work closely with students and their families to ensure academic success and will participate in occasional travel for school functions such as state testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery.
- Maintain a grade book ensuring student academic integrity and make placement decisions.
- Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and communicate regularly with students and learning coaches.
- Support learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional issues in a virtual classroom environment.
- Travel as required for professional development and student testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Active state teaching license from Arkansas Department of Education.
- Ability to clear required background check.

- Experience with online learning platforms.
