The Elementary Teacher (Kindergarten) position for the 25/26 school year in Huntersville, NC, is a full-time contract role focused on providing a Christian-based education to young students. The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, integrating biblical teachings into the curriculum, and serving as a role model within the LKNC community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive Christian role model to students and the community.
• Integrate Scripture into subjects taught to impart a biblical worldview.
• Maintain appropriate classroom discipline and manage grade-level expectations.
• Attend a local church that aligns with the school's Statement of Faith.
• Apply for and receive temporary ACSI certification within six months of starting.
• Maintain current ACSI certification for contract renewal.

Requirements

• Must be a born-again Christian with a lifestyle that reflects obedience to God and the Holy Scriptures.
• Possess at least a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of grade-level expectations and subject matter.
• Proficiency in computer and technology applications necessary for teaching.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Effective multi-tasking and time management skills.
