About the position

The Director of Amazon Ops at ELEMIS is a strategic and analytical leader responsible for managing the Amazon P&L and driving profitable growth on the platform. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and implementing effective sales and merchandising strategies to enhance brand awareness and achieve long-term profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full Amazon P&L and budgets to ensure brand hits profitability and sales goals.
  • Define and achieve growth targets through planning and implementation of effective advertising and retail strategies, promotions, site content optimization, and assortment plans.
  • Oversee Amazon agency in day-to-day operations with a focus on operational excellence, achieving sales goals and profit.
  • Manage all Amazon-related operations including inventory planning, customer experience, listing and catalog management, account health, and other relevant business operations.
  • Own total forecasting, including sales and demand, collaborating internally to ensure accurate scenarios and execution and communication across all stakeholders.
  • Lead planning and execution of new product launches and effectively execute the go-to-market launch process, collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimize content, including all product detail page assets, landing pages, and videos.
  • Develop and manage reporting and analytics that lead to actionable insights and measurable optimizations.
  • Ensure all duties contribute to the short and long-term Sustainability Goals set forth by ELEMIS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience working with a brand on Amazon through Seller Central required, luxury beauty brand experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA environment, and Amazon media.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Excel: must be able to do VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other basic formulas.
  • Highly organized, proactive self-starter with a teamwork attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Benefits

  • Salary range between $110,000 to $135,000 annually.
