About the position

The Elevator Operator position at Attebury Grain, LLC. involves performing general maintenance and housekeeping duties both inside and outside the grain elevator. The role is essential for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the elevator grounds, as well as assisting with grain handling during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning inside and outside of the elevator using a shovel, broom, mop, or other tools.
• Pumping water at various locations.
• Assisting with loading/unloading trucks.
• Assisting with loading/unloading railcars.
• Cleaning out grain bins.
• Keeping elevator grounds free of debris and organized.
• Mowing grass and trimming with a weed eater as needed.
• Maintaining mowers and weed trimmers.
• Using a hand sprayer to spray for bugs and mixing insecticide according to directions provided.
• Being alert and aware of any dangers or mechanical problems that could result in injury or damage to property.
• Maintaining punctual and regular attendance.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
