About the position

This is an advanced level position where the incumbent is responsible for performing both physical and remote audits of insured businesses. The role involves interviewing, investigating, collecting, and recording information that will be compiled into a written report for the insurance carrier. The position requires a high level of analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit activities as assigned by the Area and/or Regional Manager.
• Determine audit priorities and schedule to meet stated deadlines.
• Prepare appointment letters for audits.
• Conduct detailed reviews of all related business records.
• Prepare written reports of findings from audits.
• Meet with business owners/managers to review audit results and implement required actions.
• Transmit completed reports to Quality Review by the required due date.
• Travel to various sites as required to perform audits.
• Correct and complete audits previously returned for correction and transmit back to Quality Review in a timely manner.

• Ability to utilize available resources to complete assigned projects successfully.
• Knowledge of computer applications to document and record audit findings.
• Familiarity with the importance of audit functions.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently from home.
• Experience with the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
