About the position

The Email Developer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role involves HTML and CSS development for email and landing page templates, ensuring compatibility across various email platforms, and optimizing designs through A/B testing. The position requires collaboration with marketing teams to translate brand guidelines into engaging emails while staying updated on the latest email design trends.

Responsibilities

• Leverage new email assets designed in Figma to build templated Salesforce Marketing Cloud components using HTML and CSS.
• Perform QA and troubleshoot code rendering across multiple desktop and mobile devices, including A/B testing to optimize design elements.
• Generate multiple email variants for targeted testing starting with existing templates in Figma.
• Choose images and color schemes appropriate for the campaign.
• Collaborate with marketing teams and copywriters to translate brand guidelines into engaging emails.
• Stay updated with the latest email design trends, tools, and innovations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of email development experience (HTML, CSS, responsive, email coding).
• Experience building emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Extensive knowledge of modern email standards and best practices, including cross-client compatibility and accessibility.
• Experience with Litmus or other email testing platforms.
• Experience with design production work.
• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices.
• Ability to create responsive designs.
• Ability to troubleshoot rendering issues.
• Attention to detail and pixel-perfect design.
• Understanding of email design limitations.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and team player attitude.
• Salesforce or SFDC certifications are preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design or related field.
