About the position

In this role, you will be directly responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy and execution for Launch Potato's email program, which spans multiple properties with millions of monthly consumer visits. This position is an opportunity for you to take ownership and be a doer, significantly enhancing what the brand is currently achieving. You will be expected to put yourself in the customer's shoes, solving pain points that enable long-standing growth. Your role will involve being hands-on with data, utilizing insights to drive your email strategies from ideation to execution, ensuring that your work positively impacts both consumers and the business metrics such as Revenue, Life Time Value (LTV), and Revenue per User (RPU). Success in this role will look like optimizing and expanding our automation set for prospective and existing investors to create a more personalized experience, as well as generating a flywheel of testing and feedback. You will develop thoughtful and sophisticated omnichannel campaigns across email, SMS, and push notifications. As the marketing lead, you will consistently A/B test your creatives, subject lines, and other components to ensure best-in-class performance metrics. You will create end-to-end consumer journeys that increase both engagement and lifetime retention value, working across the messaging and yield team to create opportunities for cross-marketing within our financial services offerings. You will own the analysis and presentation of results using qualitative and quantitative data sets, flagging trends and offering solutions to enhance the lifecycle and marketing team. Partnering with our Messaging Operations Manager, you will set up automated messaging streams and consumer lists, ensuring correct data architecture within our marketing ESP. You will also act as a day-to-day leader of email code, debugging teammates' work and keeping up with the latest trends and platforms. Your true owner's mentality will drive you to constantly strive for better performance metrics and engagement across all mediums under your purview.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and expand automation for prospective and existing investors to create a personalized experience.
  • Develop sophisticated omnichannel campaigns across email, SMS, and push notifications.
  • A/B test creatives, subject lines, and other components to ensure best-in-class performance metrics.
  • Create end-to-end consumer journeys that increase engagement and lifetime retention value.
  • Collaborate with the messaging and yield team for cross-marketing opportunities.
  • Own the analysis and presentation of campaign results, flagging trends and offering solutions.
  • Partner with the Messaging Operations Manager to set up automated messaging streams and consumer lists.
  • Act as a day-to-day leader of email code, debugging teammates' work and staying updated on trends.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of email marketing/remarketing experience.
  • Extensive experience in the performance marketing/lead generation industry.
  • Proven experience delivering on department and/or company level key results.
  • Highly analytical with hands-on expertise using primarily first-party data.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker), Excel/G-Suite, and platform data tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and scale messaging revenue in previous roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to develop cross-department relationships.
  • Possess an insatiable curiosity and drive to win.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience within the insurance or performance lead generation space.
  • Experience working with paid media teams to understand the transition from ad to signup.
  • Experience with SMS and Push Notifications is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of deliverability drivers.
