About the position

The Email Marketing/Automation Manager at Collette Travel Service Inc. is responsible for leading a team that produces and deploys all email communications related to the customer experience during various phases of the customer journey. This hybrid role requires a strategic mindset to develop scalable email marketing strategies, manage automation workflows, and collaborate with marketing leaders to enhance customer engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable B2C and B2B email marketing strategies to attract new users and retain existing customers.
  • Work with internal data teams to develop and deploy email automation workflows.
  • Ensure customers receive timely and pertinent information about their upcoming trips.
  • Communicate product information to customers who have expressed interest.
  • Re-engage with customers post-travel to improve retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders across the business to execute both tactical and branding campaigns.
  • Maintain and execute a comprehensive email marketing calendar aligned with business goals in the US, Canada, and Australia.
  • Manage a team of two email marketing specialists.
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and create data-driven recommendations for improving the email marketing program.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance.
  • Devise and execute an A/B testing program for email marketing and regularly report on results.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment within and outside of the email marketing team.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Email Marketing, preferably in marketing automation.
  • Experience with Hubspot (or similar marketing automation platform) is required.
  • Experience leading a team is preferred.
  • SQL and HTML experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
