About the position

The Email Marketing Campaign Manager will be a key player in driving customer engagement and revenue growth through innovative and impactful email campaigns. You will report to the Email Channel Lead and will collaborate closely with cross-functional Marketing and Sales teams to craft and execute engaging email campaigns that nurture leads, reactivate lapsed prospects, and foster long-term client loyalty. This includes overseeing the entire process of email campaigns, from planning and audience segmentation and writing compelling briefs, to creative development, testing, and deployment. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and impactful projects across Epsilon's products and solutions, and within multiple industry verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and execute email campaigns for lead generation, nurturing, retargeting, database growth, and other key business goals.
  • Maintain an email content calendar and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Creative, and Sales teams to develop email strategies that focus on the audience, build customer journey canvases, create compelling content, and ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Write clear and compelling strategy and creative briefs to guide these efforts.
  • Partner with Performance and Marketing Operations teams to effectively segment and build audiences, monitor lists, and personalize email content for better engagement.
  • Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to continually refine email marketing tactics.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on email campaign performance metrics to optimize future campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative email marketing techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of email marketing experience, preferably within a B2B environment, focusing on lead generation and nurture.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
  • Experience working with Email Service Providers (ESPs), CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot, etc.) and building customer journeys.
  • Experience crafting strong strategy and creative briefs.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience in CRM best practices, including segmentation strategy, list hygiene, end-to-end campaign management, automation optimization, testing strategy, and template creation.
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in virtual environments across different time zones.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute highly successful email campaigns that exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and creating compelling data reports.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms beyond basic campaign execution (e.g., advanced segmentation, predictive modeling, journey orchestration).
  • Experience with email marketing in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for email marketing and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies.
