About the position

Our higher education client is seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator to join their team for approximately 2 months, starting as soon as a suitable candidate is identified. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Annual Giving and the Executive Director of Development to implement strategies aimed at enhancing the school's fundraising efforts. The Email Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in the execution of various email marketing campaigns, which include solicitations, invitations, newsletters, and more, targeting key constituencies. Your responsibilities will include working with the creative team to design and build emails using Luminate through Blackbaud. You will also manage the email campaign calendars, ensuring that all requests from the team and clients are executed efficiently. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will be responsible for editing all copy for emails before final delivery. Additionally, you will gather analytics from email campaigns and report on these metrics to share insights with the team, helping to refine future strategies and improve overall campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the creative team to design and build emails in Luminate through Blackbaud for solicitations, invitations, newsletters, and more.
  • Manage the email campaign calendars and execute requests from the team and clients.
  • Edit all copy for emails before final delivery.
  • Gather analytics from email campaigns and report on them to share with the team.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience ideally in a fundraising setting.
  • Basic HTML skills and the ability to work in Luminate from Blackbaud.
  • Ability to pull and report on analytics of campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail when editing copy for emails and managing calendars.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while working offsite.
