About the position

The Email Marketing Coordinator at NBC Sports will play a crucial role in executing email marketing campaigns, collaborating with various business units to enhance customer engagement and fandom. This position involves managing the end-to-end email production process, ensuring timely delivery of marketing materials, and analyzing campaign performance metrics to optimize future efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and execution of email marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with various NBC Sports business units to support CRM plans around key programming and milestones
  • Conduct quality assurance of all email campaigns
  • Coordinate and organize digital assets for email campaigns
  • Collect and evaluate email reporting metrics
  • Maintain the email calendar and send out weekly updates to the Marketing team
  • Ensure that daily email activities are completed and deployed on time
  • Organize the distribution of daily, weekly, monthly newsletters
  • Keep up with the latest email best practices and marketing trends
  • Administer content creation for email distribution
  • Troubleshoot and fix any problems during the generation, deployment, and delivery of emails
  • Manage the end-to-end email production process through successful conceptualizing, coding, editing, QA, and deployment
  • Facilitate the approval process and implement all revisions
  • Coordinate newsletter content, schedules, and deployments across multiple brands
  • Assist in developing comprehensive reports detailing key email marketing metrics including delivery, open rates, click rates, conversion, opt-out, and segmentation analysis
  • Work closely with creative project management and internal stakeholders to track and ensure assets and feedback are delivered on time
  • Working knowledge of email service provider (Salesforce) to create automations and journeys, set up A/B tests, and build customer segments
  • Ensure that marketing materials comply with all brand and style guidelines
  • Assist in developing marketing plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum one (1+) year relevant email production experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, ESPs, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including strong copywriting, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
