About the position

The Email Marketing and CRM Manager at Wantable is responsible for developing and executing customer-focused email and SMS marketing strategies aimed at driving engagement, retention, and revenue growth for the company's private brands. This role requires hands-on expertise in Klaviyo and a strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs). The manager will collaborate with the creative team to design and build email templates, campaigns, and automated flows while reporting on performance metrics. Additionally, the role involves enhancing the customer journey through personalized experiences and managing a loyalty program.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute email, SMS, and CRM campaigns, including creating templates, automations, and customer journeys.
  • Develop and implement a strategy for customer lifecycle management to drive engagement and retention.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure visually compelling, on-brand email communications.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the loyalty program, utilizing data to optimize campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and IT, to align on campaign execution.
  • Ensure proper segmentation, targeting, and personalization to enhance customer engagement across all email and SMS touchpoints.
  • Maintain knowledge of current email and SMS best practices, trends, and compliance regulations.
  • Manage the email and SMS calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, or CRM roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo is required.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and act on campaign performance data.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and journey mapping.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments to deliver cohesive marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Retail or e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of email marketing compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Optional experience with Shopify to support e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop and Canva is a plus for creating and optimizing visuals for campaigns.
