About the position

Leap Event Technology is seeking an Email Marketing Director to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the event technology industry, empowering our clients to create engaging and impactful experiences. As an Email Marketing Director, you will provide strategic insights and best practices to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction through superior customer service and email marketing expertise. You will be responsible for understanding client business objectives and developing evolving playbooks that drive their success. Your leadership will be crucial in managing a support team, aligning efforts with the agreed-upon scope of work, and triaging client emergencies as they arise. In addition to client support, you will play a vital role in generating client success by building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will maintain a client success roadmap that highlights wins and goals, identifying areas of opportunity for upsells or add-on services. Your leadership will extend to managing a team of digital marketing analysts, ensuring that client requests are executed with accuracy and timeliness. You will contribute to the leadership team's strategic planning, case studies, and special projects, ensuring that Leap's policies and quality assurance procedures are consistently adopted. Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive client support with strategic insights and best practices.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through superior customer service and email marketing expertise.
  • Understand client business objectives and develop evolving playbooks to drive success.
  • Manage support team to align efforts with the agreed-upon scope of work.
  • Triage client emergencies as they arise.
  • Build relationships with key client stakeholders to enhance client success.
  • Provide leadership team with client summaries and feedback.
  • Maintain a client success roadmap highlighting wins and goals.
  • Identify areas of opportunity with clients for upsells or add-on services.
  • Lead a team of digital marketing analysts to execute client requests accurately and timely.
  • Ensure Leap policies and QA procedures are consistently adopted.
  • Contribute to leadership team strategic planning, case studies, and special projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading email marketing campaign planning.
  • 2+ years of experience managing client relationships.
  • Expert understanding of email marketing tactics and strategies.
  • Understanding of customer funnel and key performance indicators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to work within the Pacific time zone.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience troubleshooting email deliverability issues.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency.
  • Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience working with sports or event ticketing.
