About the position

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to join the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team. This role involves coordinating, building, and deploying email and SMS campaigns, as well as managing the email marketing calendar and ensuring campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to work independently, reporting to the Director of CRM. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement from either the Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.

Responsibilities

  • Execute regular email marketing campaigns including planning, wireframing, building, sending, and reporting.
  • Drive email strategy to meet company KPIs.
  • Own the email marketing calendar and keep it updated.
  • Build emails in Braze using HTML/CSS templates.
  • Set up and deploy campaigns using audience segmentation filters.
  • Provide design and copy direction to the creative team according to email best practices.
  • Manage the review process for emails, collecting feedback and making necessary changes.
  • Champion the creative review and QA processes.
  • Document campaign changes and troubleshoot issues reported to the CRM team.
  • Monitor email deliverability and represent MyEyeDr. at monthly meetings.
  • Manage email campaigns for third-party vendors on prospecting campaigns.
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and sending emails.
  • 5+ years of experience with an email service provider (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Braze (desired).
  • Expertise in using filters for audience targeting.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Expertise in reporting on campaign success and understanding key metrics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with other CRM channels.
  • Experience using Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar testing tools.
