IXL Learning, a leader in personalized learning products, is seeking a Manager, Email Marketing to spearhead the development and execution of email marketing initiatives for our flagship brand, IXL. This role is pivotal in driving customer acquisition and enhancing engagement among our existing customer base, targeting both B2B (teachers, administrators) and B2C (parents) segments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to devise innovative strategies while also refining existing processes. This position requires a hands-on approach to email operations, including the creation of automated programs and ad-hoc emails, as well as the optimization of internal workflows. Additionally, the Manager will oversee a team of email marketing specialists, ensuring that all campaigns align with IXL's mission to positively impact education. In this role, you will own the entire lifecycle of email marketing programs, identifying strategic opportunities for growth and retention. This encompasses lead generation, nurturing, engagement, onboarding, upselling, re-engagement, and transactional emails. You will be responsible for optimizing email marketing processes, which include campaign development, email design, segmentation, and personalization. Monitoring analytics and conducting A/B testing will be essential to refine our email strategy, ensuring the success of email execution, quality assurance, deliverability, and database maintenance. Collaboration with various teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Design, and Engineering, will be crucial to develop and execute campaigns and automation projects. As a leader, you will manage and mentor a team of email marketing specialists, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
