About the position

The Email Marketing Manager at Tommy Bahama is a strategic leader responsible for driving the company's email marketing initiatives across various channels, including eCommerce, retail, and restaurants. This role involves developing and executing email marketing strategies, managing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and leading a team of Email Specialists to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty. The position requires a deep understanding of email marketing best practices and trends, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Omni Channel email marketing strategies and customer journeys.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of email campaign development, from ideation to deployment.
  • Implement and optimize email workflows and audience segmentation strategies.
  • Drive A/B testing initiatives to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Compile and analyze key email metrics, reporting performance to senior management.
  • Oversee a team of Email Specialists in daily operations and campaign execution.
  • Ensure compliance with global email regulations and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with business and creative teams to align email content with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field or relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in email marketing and CRM, managing large-scale email campaigns.
  • Retail/Ecommerce experience and understanding required.
  • Experience leading a team and collaborating with business and creative teams.
  • Strong knowledge of email analytics tools, preferably Adobe Analytics.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, preferably Klaviyo.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet, and Figma.

  • Experience in the fashion, apparel, and accessories industry.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, project management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to build complex triggered, multi-stage email nurture journeys.
