About the position

The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing email marketing strategies within the financial services sector. This role involves executing marketing emails, managing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with creative teams to enhance email effectiveness and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of marketing emails through HubSpot.
  • Handle email campaigns in a lead generation environment, managing a large subscriber base.
  • Set up and manage email campaigns, including one-off and recurring campaigns.
  • Analyze data and conduct A/B testing to optimize email performance and improve engagement.
  • Collaborate on SMS marketing initiatives and work closely with the creative team on design elements.
  • Manage and analyze marketing workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Track and report on the performance of email campaigns on a regular basis.
  • Ensure emails are delivered effectively and resolve any spam issues.
  • Use tools such as HubSpot, Google Sheets, Glock apps, and Google Postmaster for performance tracking.
  • Leverage Google Sheets to extract relevant data from HubSpot.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 5 or more years in an Email Marketing Manager role or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience with email marketing, lead generation, and SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology, particularly HubSpot.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
  • Solid experience in crafting email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Strong understanding of marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing analytics.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
