About the position

The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and retain customers through email and mobile communications. This role involves managing the database marketing team and optimizing campaign performance through lifecycle strategies and marketing automation. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective content management and campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to activate, engage, retain, and cross-sell to customers.
  • Create end-to-end promotional and lifecycle-based communications programs for customer segments across email and mobile.
  • Run operations of the database marketing team.
  • Implement lifecycle strategies, marketing automation, user segmentation/scoring, and surveys to optimize campaign responsiveness.
  • Support content management strategy, including inventory of current assets and mapping to buyer personas.
  • Develop and manage a dynamic campaign calendar based on approvals and key dates.
  • Execute A/B split tests, audience splits, and dynamic personalization to identify optimal messaging and design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on email/SMS lifecycle, marketing automation or CRM marketing experience.
  • Experience in campaign and journey development, dynamic content, and personalization in email and SMS platforms.
  • 2+ years' experience leading teams.
  • MLM / network marketing experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dotdigital, HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Knowledgeable using Workfront or similar project management software.
  • Adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in network marketing is preferred.
