About the position

As an Email Marketing Specialist at Veterans United, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through the development and execution of timely, informative, and engaging marketing emails. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and optimize both new and existing automated email campaigns aimed at improving core metrics and serving customers effectively throughout the home buying and refinancing processes. This position is based in our Columbia, MO office, where you will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the success of our marketing initiatives. Your job duties will vary based on assignments but will include working closely with Creative teams to design and launch new campaigns, as well as strengthening existing ones. You will monitor the daily operations of our email marketing platform, Marketo, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders is essential, as you will be expected to respond promptly and accurately to inquiries. Additionally, you will configure and optimize email marketing campaigns using the Marketo tool, coordinating with Data Analysts to gain insights into campaign performance, project outcomes, and strategic direction through reporting. You will also need to have at least 1 year of experience in Marketing, Customer Experience, Communications, or Sales, along with familiarity with logic or basic coding skills. Proficiency in basic computer technologies is also necessary, as this is an internet-based company.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Creative teams to create new campaigns and strengthen existing campaigns.
  • Monitor daily operations of Marketo and ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, responding promptly and accurately to inquiries.
  • Configure and optimize email marketing campaigns using Marketo tool.
  • Coordinate with Data Analysts to gain insight into campaigns, projects, and strategies with reporting.
  • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Marketing, Customer Experience, Communications and/or Sales.
  • Familiarity with logic or basic coding skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer technologies appropriate for an internet-based company.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
