About the position

The Email & SMS Marketing Manager at Born Primitive will lead the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms and countries. This role is essential for developing and implementing effective Email and SMS marketing strategies aimed at customer retention and acquisition, ensuring alignment with e-commerce best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage Email/SMS strategy and execution for all brands across the US and International markets
• Build Email/SMS campaigns and optimize new and existing flows using Klaviyo / Recart to engage with existing customers and attract new ones
• Identify and define customer segments, tailoring campaigns to maximize performance and achieve KPIs
• Audit customer segments regularly to eliminate low-quality or non-performing leads/segments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Product, to ensure cohesive campaign execution
• Establish KPIs for campaigns, flows and specific segments aligned with larger business objectives
• Analyze Email/SMS data and report regularly to senior leadership
• Apply analysis insights to future Email/SMS strategy and campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years experience with marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo Preferred)
• 5+ years experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional email marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• 5+ years experience using analytical tools to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• 5+ years experience using customer research, data and metrics to identify trends and assess the efficacy of various programs and campaigns
• Proven experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Preferred)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Strategic self-starter
