About the position

The Embedded Engineer will work with a team of dedicated engineers to develop software solutions for various Datacenter, Service-Provider, and Enterprise products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance features, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer support for an open-source server. The engineer will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of both clients and servers, as well as managing the development of plugins.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with new features, issues, and customer support for the open-source server.
• Participate in the design, implementation, support, documentation, and testing of the clients and the server.
• Manage the strategic development of new and existing plugins.
• Work comfortably with infrastructure and containers.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of Embedded/hardware experience.
• Strong development experience using C++.
• Strong experience with Software Device Driven.
• Strong familiarity with Linux and the command line.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred experience with firmware and kernel.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred) or relational databases (SQL).
