PACCAR Embedded Engineering organization has an immediate opening for an Embedded Hardware Integration Engineer to join our team in Kirkland, WA. This role is pivotal in the design, integration, and release of electrical and electronic components and systems for heavy and medium-duty commercial truck vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating and releasing embedded electronics hardware for vehicle and drive line controls, ensuring that all components meet industry-leading quality and reliability standards. The position requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, including mechanical engineers and manufacturing engineers, to develop innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations. In this role, you will lead the electronics engineering requirements specification and project management processes, maintaining schedule, budget, scope, and functionality. You will also manage relationships with tier 1 and 2 suppliers, plan and track validation of components, and support launches at truck assembly plants. The Embedded Hardware Integration Engineer will be expected to investigate and resolve warranty issues related to powertrain electrical claims, demonstrating strong planning, budgeting, and organizational skills.
