About the position

As an Embedded HMI Application Developer specializing in Android, iOS, and Linux-based systems, you will play a crucial role in the development of embedded applications within the automotive infotainment production environment. This position requires a strong focus on realizing functions and achieving performance targets in alignment with project objectives. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded applications on hardware, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and industry standards. Your work will directly impact the user experience in automotive systems, making it essential to have a keen understanding of UX design principles and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and UX designers, to create seamless and intuitive applications. You will also be expected to engage with customers on-site for a minimum of three days a week, which will provide you with valuable insights into user needs and preferences. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the overall functionality and performance of automotive infotainment systems, ensuring that they are not only technically sound but also user-friendly and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded applications on hardware based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
• Engage with customers on-site for a minimum of three days a week to gather feedback and insights.
• Ensure applications meet performance targets and project objectives.
• Focus on user experience design to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of embedded software development experience in a production environment.
• Experience in UI development for web, iOS, Android, or native Linux applications.
• Proficiency in Dart, TypeScript, Objective C, Kotlin, and Swift.
• Base knowledge of operating systems level interactions, including file systems and user access management controls.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and customer experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional English communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Automotive experience is preferred.
