Our engineering organization is hiring a Communication Systems Engineer who will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering. In this role, you will be involved in designing, validating, and solving complex technical challenges related to electrical and communication systems used worldwide. As a part of our electrical engineering team, you will get hands-on exposure to our control systems, sensors, drives, and communication platforms. This high-impact role provides access to an engineering organization with a diverse skill set and extensive domain expertise, as well as internal labs with extensive capabilities, continuous learning, and development opportunities. On a typical day, you will develop system/component level requirements and generate design concepts for electrical/embedded software-based communication systems. You will perform integration testing of Ethernet communication networks and corresponding hardware/embedded software systems. Additionally, you will work with compliance agencies to prepare compliance test plans and documentation. Coordination with suppliers and electronic manufacturing partners will be essential to bring a design into a production environment. You will work both individually and across a matrixed team environment, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
