About the position

As the Cybersecurity Product Safety Engineering Manager, you will lead the strategic direction of electronic product safety and security initiatives. This role involves managing a team focused on Product Cybersecurity and Functional Safety, driving innovation to meet product and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of product safety and security engineering initiatives across all company production products.
• Establish a clear vision for the product safety and security engineering team that aligns with the broader organizational goals and corporate objectives.
• Oversee a team of direct reports, handling recruitment, training, retention, and performance management.
• Act as a mentor and coach for engineering leaders to enhance team performance and collaboration.
• Drive the strategy and continuous improvement of the company's product safety and security engineering methods and processes.
• Standardize processes in product safety and security engineering to ensure the long-term success of production products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout engineering to ensure project success.
• Manage relationships with contract software development firms and coordinate staff augmentation contracts to meet production program needs.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 2 years of experience minimum leading/managing a team of engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline.
